UK AIRPORTS GUIDE.
Despite the attempt of airports to improve the passenger experience (Heathrow Airport is spending £1 billion each year for the next five years) it is a fact for many passengers that the experience is not pleasant when one considers the cost of parking for the 45% of passengers that are estimated to drive to the airport, delays at check in with the possibilty of excess baggage charges, the unfortunate long delays at security which are made worse by the current world security issues-unless you have chosen to be fast tracked and paid for the privilege and then finally once through security the departure lounge beckons your wallet with (over priced food) and drink and a multitude of shopping outlets.
This site is designed to give an overview of each of the UK's airports and if you would like to add information that might help others please use the contact us tab at the top of the page.
Information is available on parking, airport hotels, airport lounges, smoking facilities if available, shopping and food and drink and much more.
